This year, EXCERPTS is more meaningful than ever. We’re bringing our community together not only to raise awareness for ovarian cancer, but to make a direct and lasting impact on a family in need. Through our partnership with the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, we are working closely with a family whose life has been affected by ovarian cancer and coming together to surround them with love, support, and the generosity of our community.

EXCERPTS is Project Moshen Dance Company’s annual ovarian cancer awareness benefit, bringing together dancers, artists, families, friends, and supporters for an unforgettable evening celebrating the power of dance and the power of coming together for a cause that matters.

Created in memory of Kelli Moshen’s mother, Jodi, who passed away from ovarian cancer in 2018, EXCERPTS is a night to honor survivors, support those currently fighting, remember loved ones we’ve lost, and uplift the families navigating this disease.

Join us on December 5, 2026, at Venice Island Performing Arts Center for an evening filled with incredible performances, a lively welcome reception, music, raffles, a silent auction, and plenty of opportunities to give back.

EXCERPTS: An Evening of Dance, Hope & Awareness

Project Moshen Dance Company proudly presents EXCERPTS, our annual ovarian cancer awareness benefit event. Created in memory of Jodi Moshen, the mother of founder and Executive Director Kelli Moshen, EXCERPTS brings our community together to honor survivors, support those currently fighting, remember loved ones lost, and raise awareness through the power of dance.

This family-friendly evening features a lively welcome reception with live music, signature cocktails, raffles, a silent auction, and inspiring performances by Project Moshen and acclaimed guest artists from across the region.

Over the years, EXCERPTS has welcomed renowned guest performers including Jim Bunting Dance Company, Koresh Youth Ensemble, Just Sole Dance, Asya Zlatina + Dancers, and more, as well as special guest speakers such as Gina Gannon (6abc Action News) and Jenna Meissner (PHL17).

A portion of the proceeds supports ovarian cancer research, advocacy, and patient support through organizations such as the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation and the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition.
