Founded in 2010, Project Moshen set out to revive the style of jazz dance in Philadelphia. Combining the artistic side and the commercial side of dance, Artistic Director Kelli Moshen, blends the two styles & elements together to showcase her fast, intricate, urban style of jazz dance.

Project Moshen produces two shows a year, performs at various events, visits schools in the community, and holds master classes at Philadelphia area universities. Through these efforts, the company hopes to spread their passion, creativity, and knowledge of jazz dance to the community, along with bringing this style of jazz back to life in Philadelphia.

Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. A day of giving and supporting local small non profits!

Giving Tuesday is on December 1st this year and we would like to take a moment to remind our amazing audience about this important day for all Non-Profit organizations like Project Moshen. With our 2020/ 2021 season already underway, we are so SAD we won't be able to kick off the holiday season with you with our annual Holiday event, Excerpts, benefitting the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, due to Covid. With that said, we are looking forward to the spring and being able to produce a spring show for you which will be our 10th anniversary show (omg!).
We are hoping we can make it happen!

This is where you come in! We need your help to navigate through this time of Covid, as the arts unfortunately suffered a big loss.
On Giving Tuesday, any tax deductible donation you can give will help pay for a safe venue, rehearsal space, costumes, lighting, and also pay towards the dancers of ProMo who work hard to put on these amazing shows! We love our audience and are SO ready to put on a show for you. Be sure to follow us on Instagram and Facebook to stay in the loop about Giving Tuesday and with all things ProMo!
