Founded in 2010, Project Moshen set out to revive the style of jazz dance in Philadelphia. Combining the artistic side and the commercial side of dance, Artistic Director Kelli Moshen, blends the two styles & elements together to showcase her fast, intricate, urban style of jazz dance.

Project Moshen produces two shows a year, performs at various events, visits schools in the community, and holds master classes at Philadelphia area universities. Through these efforts, the company hopes to spread their passion, creativity, and knowledge of jazz dance to the community, along with bringing this style of jazz back to life in Philadelphia.

Project Moshen is excited to announce A Night In Moshen (ANIM) their first live & in-person performance since 2019! As one of the regions first live arts events after the pandemic's impact on the Philadelphia arts scene, Project Moshen, will present a night of celebrating dance which will include all new works choreographed by Artistic Director Kelli Moshen, a Q&A with Moshen, and a meet and greet with the company members.

ANIM will be held outside of the Institute of Dance Artistry (only seconds from the PA turnpike) and will follow all state and local regulations regarding large outdoor events. This includes limited capacity, mask required, and socially distanced seating.

Project Moshen has missed seeing all the dancers, arts supporters and fans in person, and can't wait to celebrate dance with everyone this spring! Be sure to tell your friends and grab your tickets today!
