Founded in 2010, Project Moshen set out to revive the style of jazz dance in Philadelphia. Combining the artistic side and the commercial side of dance, Artistic Director Kelli Moshen, blends the two styles & elements together to showcase her fast, intricate, urban style of jazz dance.

Project Moshen produces two shows a year, performs at various events, visits schools in the community, and holds master classes at Philadelphia area universities. Through these efforts, the company hopes to spread their passion, creativity, and knowledge of jazz dance to the community, along with bringing this style of jazz back to life in Philadelphia.

Last night kicked off our first  POP UP WORKSHOP SERIES  of the SUMMER! Don't worry if you couldn't make it! You still have two more chances to dance with us this summer! Thursday, July 12 will be held at Institute of Dance Artistry and August 22 , which is also our PRE AUDITION workshop ( click here for more info on our audition), at the Performance Garage. 7:30pm - 9pm. Be sure to save the date and register now by emailing info@projectmoshen.com as spots are limited.

Artistic Director, Kelli Moshen kicked off the night with a jazz technique based warm up, followed by center work to hone in on the dancers' technical skills, and finished with a newly choreographed signature Project Moshen piece from the repertoire! Moshen choreographed a combination to Audiomachine's "Redshift" where The dancers had the chance to come out of their comfort zone, sweat, live, dance, and move alongside Project Moshen Company members!

We had dancers from all over and all different ages come together to do what they love. They were challenged, had fun, and had the experience of a lifetime. We hope to see you at our next one!
